|Location||Flexible (Ormond Beach, FL; San Diego, CA; Atlanta, GA preferred)|
|Under the direction of the RFP Manager, the proposal writer helps develop content in response to requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for information in support of new business development and sustaining existing business. The Proposal Writer will interact closely with engineering and senior management to prepare highly competitive bid responses that are relevant to the customer’s requirements.
The Proposal Writer should be proficient at communicating technical concepts in the Bid and Proposal process that will be understood by both technical and non-technical reviewers. The Proposal Writer must have a strong understanding of both government and business procurement processes. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background and excellent writing skills. The Proposal Writer will follow all bids through the proposal process and provide regular feedback to the company. Some travel may be required to attend pre-bid conferences, meetings, and training seminars or classes.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit and work at a computer. The employee may need to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. May be required to travel (conferences, customers, meetings, etc…) up to 5%.
