Job Summary
This position will work with our development team performing test execution defect management, reporting defect remediation, test planning and test case/script writing.  You will be asked to help automate testing processes, create statistical reporting and ensure our customers are getting defect free results
Essential Job Functions
  • Follow defined quality methods
  • Test, evaluate and measure new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establish guidelines
  • Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests to determine weaknesses in software code
  • Provide recommendations, guidance, and direction for automating manual regression suites
  • Strong technical competency and experience with testing web applications, web services; telephony based IVR, and multimodal notification solutions a plus
  • Execute browser compatibility testing.
  • Conduct performance load testing
  • Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs promoting quality achievement and performance improvement
  • Recommend program improvements or corrections to programmers and identify program processing errors
  • Review new or modified software, including documentation, diagram and flow chart, to determine if a program will perform according to user requests and standards and that they conform to guidelines.
  • Perform any other job related instructions as requested, with reasonable accommodation
  • Preferred 5 years QA experience
  • Experience developing cross-browser automated suites
  • Create and execute SQL queries
  • 3+ years’ experience with test automation experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Black box and white box testing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to effectively perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines within a dynamic environment
  • Ability to translate requirements and troubleshoot issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers (versions should include current and two versions prior) including IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari
  • Familiarity with multiple mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Equally comfortable with both Windows and OS
  • Exposure to QA in software release/build process/SDLC
  • Working Knowledge of ALM Test Management Toolsets
