 Job Summary
The Development Operations Manager (DevOps) is a team leader responsible for managing deployments for our SaaS solutions as well as managing and maintaining our internal DevOps environments.  They are responsible for implementing and managing continuous delivery systems and methodologies. May install products for testing including 3rd party components.  Automate test cases and recommend product enhancements.  They will coordinate scheduling of deployments and own the company’s source code repository.  They will design, manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes.  Acts with authority to approve or stop a software release based on quality and potential customer impact.

  • Supervise other DevOps engineers
  • Develop and ensure compliance with the highest quality standards
  • Design and development deployment methodologies
  • Ensure minimal disruption to customer usage and performance
  • Recommend program improvements or corrections to programmers and identify program processing errors
  • Perform any other job related instructions as requested, with reasonable accommodation
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to effectively perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines within a dynamic environment
  • Ability to translate requirements and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to serve as an advocate for quality improvements that drive the delivery of quality solutions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in testing  telephony based IVR, and multimodal notification solutions is a plus
  • Familiarity with multiple web browsers (versions should include current and two versions prior) including IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari
  • Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture
  • Familiarity with multiple mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Equally comfortable with both Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge of Networking including use of DNS and Proxy Servers
  • Exposure to Docker and knowledge of containers
  • Experience using GIT, knowledge of Subversion.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and delivery models
  • Exposure to Atlassian Toolset (Jira, Confluence, HipChat, Bitbucket)
  • Experience using continuous integration and automated deployment tools such as TeamCity and Octopus
